Wall coping provides beauty and protection to a wall from rain and other weather conditions.
Design Options, Flexibility for Wall Coping, Hardscape
With the AAS technology and manufacturing capabilities, copings can be integrated to blend with ambiance and vision the designer or architect has for the overall project.
Wall coping and caps can be produced in almost any color to match or contrast with other architectural design elements such as building cladding or veneer systems, entry ways, and other design themes. Wall coping can be designed to match any style of architecture and often adds special interest to art deco, industrial style, or more contemporary design with bright colors and sharp color contrast.
Coping can have a specific design theme itself that can be core to the overall look of a building, or be the unifying element in the landscape/hardscape portion of a project.
The AAS project team will work with the architect, designer, and contractor for a project helping to find the optimal answer for wall coping design.
Architectural Stone for Wall Caps
With architectural stone products of AAS, designers and building owners get the same level of consistency in the product quality – color, finish, and structural properties.
When required, AAS is able to combine architectural stone materials. Also while combining different products such as architectural cast stone or architectural wet-precast for example, AAS is qualified to maintain uniform design aesthetics. For example, AAS often recommends using architectural GFRC for high elevation wall caps at the roof-line, eves and cornices while using architectural cast stone for planters or walkways. With precise color matching, the coping looks exactly the same throughout the project even though the products may be different.
AAS team is experienced in combining coping design with natural limestone products as well.
