Architectural Stone Cladding: Grapevine Convention, Visitors Bureau
The designers envisioned the exterior facades of the Grapevine Center to resonate with the historic prairie style. The AAS team recommended architectural cast stone for exterior cladding as well as unique design accent elements.
Custom Molds Design for Grape Leaves
A key design element in the exterior cladding are artistic cast stone pieces that emulate grape leaves. The AAS team developed rubber molds to consistently replicate intricate design details in every stone piece.
Custom Color
Architect for the project had specific color contrast requirements for different parts of the building. The AAS team analyzed samples of stone used in the other buildings in the area, and designed unique batch mix for the cast stone used for the convention center.
The Center blended seamlessly with adjacent historical structures in the area.
